Optimal sizing design of a 1.5 MW permanent magnets synchronous generator for an onshore wind conversion system

چکیده

This paper proposes a fast and accurate optimal sizing design of 1.5 MW Permanent Magnets Synchronous Generator (PMSG) for grid-connected wind application. A strategy inspired from the output space mapping technique is adopted. analytical model used detailed to determine parameters performances PMSG. Then, results are validated by precise finite element adjusted iteratively until coherence between two models obtained. multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm deployed with aim reducing total losses weight generator. The algorithm's given analyzed. Three machines chosen tested using 2D-finite model. main generators discussed. Good efficiency designs obtained sized thanks adopted strategy.
